I want to be deeply connected to my horses. I want my horses to feel both powerful and comforted in my presence. To have them work with me as a willing partner and look to me for leadership and guidance. The ability to ride their strength and shape their power is a beautiful thing. It is achieved through honorable leadership, meeting the horse’s needs, and helping the horse move in its most athletic form. Taking care of both the mental and physical states of the horse is how horse and rider come together in both mind and body.

I love teaching and want to help horse and rider teams boldly achieve their goals and reach their full potential. I seek to help riders meet their horse’s needs, form leadership skills, and develop a heartfelt relationship with their horse.
My goal as a trainer is to create a willing and thinking horse through building connection, clarity in communication, & balance through mind and body. I apply classical riding principles to develop the athletic ability of the horse and establish a solid foundation that can be applied to all disciplines.
